Marketing Manager Concerts
Musica Viva Australia (MVA) is recruiting a number of key positions in our Marketing department, following a period of review and restructure. This team works across MVA nationally, delivering a new brand strategy which actively promotes engagement in concerts, education work, national and international competitions as well as emerging artists.
Our primary purpose to make music feel extraordinary for everyone. We have the conviction that great music and musicians make the world a better place. And we’re in the business of creating truly memorable experiences for people of all ages and from all backgrounds.
At their core, all roles connect artists with people across Australia – whether in classrooms, on concert stages or online. We’re looking for people who can deliver creative, data-driven plans and initiatives to increase MVA’s reach. You’re likely to have marketing experience in the arts and cultural/ NFP sector and be driven by making positive impacts.
There are roles with specific responsibilities for concerts marketing. All roles will require digital experience.

Development Manager WA
Musica Viva Australia relies on the generosity of its supporters to help bring its mission to life- giving audiences access to the performances, education programs, new works and tours for which they are renowned. The Development team now seeks Development Manager WA for 4 days a week, who will both play crucial roles in developing and implementing strategies to strengthen Musica Viva Australia’s philanthropic and private income-related outcomes in Western Australia.
With demonstrated experience in fundraising and relationship management, ideally gained in the arts or the broader not for profit sector, the successful candidates will display excellent interpersonal and communication skills which will see them engaging easily with stakeholders both internal and external in driving the organisation’s philanthropic agenda. An interest in and/or knowledge of the arts scene, classical music and music education will be fundamental.

Professional Development Presenters
Musica Viva Australia is proud to present a range of face-to-face and online professional development opportunities to support music teaching in Australian schools. The purpose of these sessions is to build teachers' capacity and confidence in their primary school music teaching and to encourage creativity and exploration in their classroom to enhance children’s appreciation of music and boost their creativity.
We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced music educators particularly located in SA, QLD, VIC, ACT and WA to help create and present dynamic, interactive, and engaging 2-hour sessions of Face to Face and/or online PDs as part of Musica Viva Australia’s professional development program. If you are from the TAS, NT, or NSW we are accepting applications however we have limited positions available in these regions. Existing PD Presenters in our programme do not need to apply.

Casual Pool Position
We are currently seeking expressions of interest for skilled and motivated individuals to join our casual pool to help with customer care calls to teachers who book Musica Viva Australia in Schools programs and to provide occasional administrative support, as required, in either of our offices in Sydney or Brisbane.
Volunteer Positions - Get in touch!
Our volunteers have played an integral role with Musica Viva Australia since its founding in 1945, when European refugees volunteered their time to see their cultural roots flourish in their new country. Today, our volunteers donate their time to roles on committees, administration, and providing specialty services, and we’re hugely grateful for their contributions.
