Individual Giving Manager

We are a leading organisation dedicated to creating meaningful change in society. Our work is driven by a commitment to philanthropy, and we believe that research plays a pivotal role in unlocking the true potential of giving. 

Musica Viva Australia relies on the generosity of its supporters to help bring its mission to life- giving audiences access to the performances, education programs, new works and tours for which they are renowned. The Development team now seeks Individual Giving Manager, who will play a crucial role to strengthen Musica Viva Australia’s philanthropic and private income-related outcomes. 

With demonstrated experience in fundraising and relationship management, ideally gained in the Arts or the broader not for profit sector, the successful candidate will display excellent interpersonal and communication skills which will see them engaging easily with stakeholders both internal and external in driving the organisation’s philanthropic agenda. 'Demonstrated knowledge and a high level of proficiency in the Tessitura database system or similar CRM is essential'. An interest in and/or knowledge of the arts scene, classical music and music education will be highly regarded.

Education and Emerging Artists Marketing Executive 

The Marketing team works across Musica Viva Australia (MVA) nationally, delivering a brand strategy which actively promotes engagement in concerts, education work, national and international competitions as well as emerging artists.  

Our primary purpose to make music feel extraordinary for everyone. We have the conviction that great music and musicians make the world a better place. And we’re in the business of creating truly memorable experiences for people of all ages and from all backgrounds. 

At their core, all roles in our Marketing team connect artists with people across Australia – whether in classrooms, on concert stages or online. We’re looking for someone who can deliver creative, data-driven plans and initiatives to increase MVA’s reach. You’re likely to have marketing experience in the arts and cultural/ NFP sector and be driven by making positive impacts.  

This role focuses on education and emerging artists marketing. All our Marketing roles require digital experience and work closely with the digital team.

South Australia Administration Coordinator

We are seeking a part-time (2 days or 15hrs per week) arts management administrator to join our MVA team in SA. This position is expected to develop and sustain working relationships with stakeholders including teachers, subscribers, donors and artists in the delivery of MVA programs in SA. The role also has a telephone sales focus to promote, sell and coordinate Musica Viva in Schools (MVIAS) programs in SA.

Qualities that will make you successful in this role

  • Confidence and a commitment to MVA’s vision
  • Proven interpersonal skills with strong experience in customer service and sales.
  • Strong organisational and administration skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM programs (Tessitura or similar) desirable - training will be provided.
  • Experience working in or understanding of the education and/or the arts sectors and knowledge of the South Australia education and arts landscape.

Education Project Coordinator

Musica Viva Australia’s Education programs are developed mainly for a primary school audience and are comprised of live performance, digital resources, and teacher professional development.

The Education Projects Coordinator is a member of the Education team, supporting the Director of Education and wider team with administration and logistical support for a broad range of special projects.
