The Cousin Quartet speak on their Australian National Academy of Music Residency
The Cousin Quartet ventured to Melbourne in April 2021 for an all-expenses-paid residency at the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM), a prize they were awarded at the 2020 Strike A Chord Finals.
Throughout the week, the quartet took part in coaching sessions with some of the incredible ANAM staff, they had access to their own private rehearsal rooms, and had the opportunity to perform for friends and family at the end of the week.
Strike A Chord and Musica Viva Australia would like to thank ANAM for providing this incredible opportunity.
Running since 2015, FutureMakers is designed to discover and enable brilliant early career artists to become Australia’s musical leaders of tomorrow.
The Musica Viva Masterclass program gives music students the unique opportunity to learn from some of the world’s finest chamber musicians in a variety of learning environments across the country.
